• Interlocking modular tool system! As the base component, the crossbar can be used universally and combined with all pressure feet from the VIGOR product range. The crossbar is additionally equipped with an inside thread so that the cylinder can be screwed in to be able to carry out printing work (e.g. pressing out the drive shaft). The width of all pairs of installation and removal pressure feet can be individually adjusted and adapted on the crossbar. This flexibility, in combination with the correct pair of pressure feet, guarantees a universal tool set for all wheel bearing types currently available on the market

Design of compact wheel bearing

Compact wheel bearings are also known as generation 2.1 wheel bearings. They have a flange, which is shaped as a wheel hub. The wheel bearing is a compact unit and cannot be split. The Generation 2.1 wheel bearing has a rotating internal or external ring and a locking ring

Installation/removal

Due to the rotating internal ring of the wheel bearing, professional installation must only be carried out via the outer ring of the bearing. A suitable tool is required in order to avoid damaging the bearing. Only a few components of our system are required for installing and removing the compact wheel bearing

Generation 2 pressed wheel bearings with integrated wheel hub, also known as HBU 2.1 or compact wheel bearings, have been used in vehicles since 2002 and are now installed in most vehicle brands and sizes. Proper installation can only be ensured by transferring power to the bearing. Compact wheel bearings are available in diameters ranging from 62 to 94 mm
